GoToMeeting Public Roadmap
Is there a public roadmap for GoToMeeting? While we like GoToMeeting for a variety of reasons (including that it came with the phone system we use), the lack of improvements in the feature-set (or even fixing some long-standing issues) over the year is very concerning especially compared to the competition. More and more of my clients are refusing to use it for meetings due to issues with it, lack of features like background hiding on video calls, and others. I had a performance issue today, connecting to a customer machine with an attended session. The connexion quality was poor and only had a frozen screen. I tried twice. Then I tried to connect with GoTo Assist 4 and everything went fine and responsive. Do GoTo Resolve need a lot more ressources than GoTo Assist ? Where are the drawing tools in the new GoTo app for windows? (GoTo 0.300.2 3.31.0). I find the following completely unacceptable: new features appearing without notice: example the hand raise/emojis, change to settings screen etc.. old features disappearing - example: drawing tools zero communication to paying customers about any of this, only mention I have seen was about "rebranding" to GoTo with little details. allowing multiple apps to operate with different feature sets (old orange flower GTM vs. new GoTo and even desktop app vs. web app with changeslike the inability to zoom on shared screen content in the web version) it all leads to major confusion for your paying customers and attendees,it needs to be resolved quickly.Solved4KViews1like14Commentsunable to access a local camera / microphone when working remotely
annoys me constantly: I am working remotely (from ...home) on my desktop at the office, when i get a ZOOM... call. I, at a minimum, need access to my microphone and ideally to my camera (to hear / see me at home (where i am...); HOWEVER, if I respond to the request for the call trough remote access, the microphone and camera connecting are those at the remote location (not those that can actually hear / see me. It seems that the 1.3.5282 update has introduced a few issues in my environment that I am having trouble tracking down. Wonder if others are seeing these things. These issues are on home equipment that I do not manage but support on a best effort basis, so I'm limited in what I can/am willing to do. Home equipment (clients) is a mix of OSes. All hosts are Win 10. The more severe of the two issues is that the client application simply will not launch. You launch the application, you see the process for a moment in Task Manager, but then it closes immediately with no feedback. This has occurred on Windows 10 computers and a Windows 7 computer. I uninstalled the application, deleted all LMI folders from programdata and appdata, and installed an older version I fortunately had saved and instructed the users to not install updates when prompted. The other issue is that the remote computer looks blurry. We've gone through all the resolution options on the host and client side, as well as changing color depth and zoom settings to no avail.
