Welcome to the Community cs_webinar It can be a bit complicated. Here's a rundown:
- Standard webinars require Windows and Mac users to join though our software, the browser is only used to download and launch the software. Linux and ChromeBooks attendees are the only ones automatically directed to join a standard webinar in browser, and Chrome is the browser required.
- Webcasts are different from standard webinars, all attendees join in the supported web browsers including Firefox, they can hear the presenter's audio but they cannot be promoted to panelist or co-organizer and they cannot be unmuted
- If you only need your attendees to join without downloading any software and they do not need to be unmuted or made presenter, you should use a webcast.
