LMI with Dell DisplayLink
I am using LMI Pro with my Laptop that has a Dell DisplayLink so I have three additional monitors. I previously would be able to turn off the monitors and then lock the laptop. Once at home I would be able to see all the monitors but now I only see the laptop screen. Hey there I use the LogMeIn client app on Windows. Want to know if there is a function for copy and rename? I often find myself copying the same file from multiple different site. These files all have the same name at the remot site, but I need to give them individual names when I collect them to my laptop. Is there a function that can do this in one go, or is copying the file, then renaming once completed to only option? I have a client that has LogMeIn installed on a PC for remote support. I am trying to connect but it keeps disconnecting at the Verify Identity step. I have followed the steps on previous posts about clearing the certificate cache and the disabling antivirus. It has not helped. I am using the LogMeIn client to connect. Any other ideas? Logmein Pro utilities port 443 which is a non-complaint port for credit card processing. It is a SSL port and can not be open for processing credit cards. I have exited out of the program and support is telling that the port still remains open - so I have to uninstall the pogram to close this port to get my customers complaint. This means that Logmein isn't the program that i can use any more for our company accessing customers systems. They tell me I can't change this port so the program basically is for our company is worthless and costing us a lot money to make customers complaint for credit cards. Please let me start by saying, I have been using the product for a while and I is nothing short of a lifesaver at times. That is why I'm so distressed about the complicated signin that is required when I contact my computers from a different IP address. Of course it is a different IP. that is why I need access to my computers in the first place. The price has jumped up quite a bit lately. This is not acceptable. I am not planning to renew given the product has become useless at times because of the time it takes to call support and they can not fix my issue. When I need to get to my computer to do a "critical" task the last thing I want to deal with is a double signin where I have to access my phone or email or both. Hi Team, We have an exe which is the logmein installer and it installs it without the need for a username and password. We are upgrading from Windows 10 1607 to 1803 and now the installer won't connect, we need to manually set it up. As we have this as part of our deployment task sequence, we are trying to resolve the issue as it is meant to be zero touch. Does anyone know why this would occur? I had to reinstall windows on my desktop so now need to reinstall logmein. When I log in to logmein I see my two computers there but that one says offline. What do I need to do to reinstall the software and bring it back online? Can't find it anywhere? When I try to do add a computer my only option is upgrade. Any helps is appreciated! I used LogMeIn for many years and I have found, and this is true with another product I use, ConnectWise, that with all my clients I connect to, I have most using Charter, (Spectrum), cable Internet service: Those with AT&T, Uverse - which is a fiber supplied, over copper phone line to modem service, and they have plans that offer up to decent Internet service speeds but not close to Charter's, when connecting to AT&T clients when I used LogMeIn and now with ConnectWise the connection is so slow it is impossible at times to work with the remote host... Even though AT&T doesn't supply 60M service, maybe 25M, this is not because of the lesser speed (by not much lesser), nor is it the remote access product, LogMeIn, ConnectWise.... there is something else going on that has to be an AT&T design. With other cable clients - all is very nice and fast..., as with a few Dish clients I have. But connecting to one client computer in an AT&T supplied office will slow down their entire connection with AT&T . Having someone on another computer run speedtests will show the AT&T speed just drops to speeds we saw in the 90's. All computers seemingly affected, by the one host connection... I see no mention of this so far in searching the Internet, yet I have been dealing with such for a few years... this is obviously related to the host ISP it seems... anyone else stumble on this??? Why am I now unable to connect to one of computers, since last year all I had to do was connect via the client app and I was connected. Today for some reason I am asked to enter username and password of which I have entered correctly yet it fails. It asks me to reset login details on the actual computer, this means now I have to waste time traveling to the remote computer to reset it. Why all of a sudden has this started to happen, I had this problem last year just before my subscription is due which is also due soon this year. Having issues with new users unable to complete the account creation process. After clicking on link in invitation, they create their account and then are told to wait for a second email with instructions on verifying/completing registration. It never comes. (No, it's not in the spam folder.) Have called Support 4x in the last two days, speaking with no less than THREE SUPERVISORS. I have been able to display all 4 of my monitors in different windows until I did the latest update. Now I have to toggle between the monitors. Is there a way to fix this? I have tried everything I can think of. When I click options and choose multi monitors it just puts all the monitors in a straight line one the screen there is no way to drag them to my other monitor. My logmein pro was working fine until last week. The host say's it is offline but it is enabled, I work on it everyday.I can log onto other computers in the group put not the host. I am using windows 7. A rep came in and reset it and it worked fine while she was on the line, but when i had to reboot it started all over. Good day all, I've been trying to share a computer desktop. Two people, remotely, connected to a third part remote desktop. Have never been able to do this. I use the direction, sending an invite to a third part which appears to come from the administrator, the invited user clicks on the hyperlink, causes a download...begins to conn..brrrr...dddllltttt.t...connect and then fails... I can watch the logs in my console that they are attempting to connect...however, they cannot. 1 user was able to connect on a different date, however, I could not connect with that user as my connection would kick him off.
