Can't log in
Hi, I am trying to log in to the Go To Webinar app but I am having difficulty. When I type in my email address/username and click Next, it does not ask for my password, the only option is to sign in via Facebook. When I click this I get a message saying: "Error - App not set up: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions." I have no idea what to do. I have a webinar tomorrow and I can't sign in at all. Hello, For my GoToWebniar account it is possible to register to past events. This is quite bad, if customers have links to old events and are able to register to them. Is there an option to turn that off? The best solution would be if they would be linked to the recording of the session. I have pre-registered all attendees for my virtual conference for all live GoToWebinar sessions using Zapier. When it is time for the session, I send them tohttps://global.gotowebinar.com/join/######### (<- insert 9 digit webinar ID here). They add their email address and are immediately admitted to the webinar. It works like a charm. Now I have taken recordings and uploaded them as separate On-Demand webinars. I can still preregister people like before, but the only webinar ID I can find is now 18 digits. The URL above does not accept the 18 digit ID. Is there a 9 digit ID for recorded webinars? Hi - this is an urgent one. I am running an event in a couple of hours. I have loaded a demo with no sound into the system, the speaker plans on talking over it when played. I know the speaker's mic mutes itself at the point of playing the video but he can then switch it back on. In principle should this work? As I have just done a test event as an 'Attendee' and even though it registered I was talking, not sound was coming through -tested on 2 different devices. Thank you very much for help. Recently, I've been learning to use gotowebinar so as to be prepared for our future webinar. My 7-day free trial started from 5th, July, and will be expired on 16th, July. I subscribed the $249/month plan yesterday(7/13), and the function was all good then. However, I've kept failing to start a webinar today due to "Internet connection problem." I'm sure my Internet works well. Besides, I use another account to get free trial and I can still start a new webinar without any problem. Hi guys, Maybe this topic has been brought up before, but I didn't find it. We are using GoToWebinar as a way of talking about a topic by showing a powerpoint presentation and have a presenter talking the audience through. But, we're having some trouble with finding the right dimensions for our powerpoint presentations, since our logo is being cut off at the bottom, or certain phrases aren't showing because they're too far down the slide. Can anyone tell me the correct dimensions of a powerpoint presentation to use in GoToWebinar? This would save us a lot of time, editing the powerpoints. An attendee at our webinar today had no audio both on VoiP and phone. For the phone, it wasn't accepting his access code. His email to us after the webinar is below. Any thoughts? All other attendees were fine so while this was not an overall issue, I still need to figure out why this person can't connect to any GoToWebinar. Thanks. Unfortunately, my computer could not get any audio. I attempted four times to try to call to the number listed and then attempted to put in the proper code. Each time after entering the code and before hitting the # sign, I checked the code to make sure it’s right. Twice the recording said I didn’t enter any numbers and immediately hung up on me the other two times, it said I entered the wrong numbers, even though I checked the numbers and knew they were correct, and then they hung up on me. The last two times I’ve been on GoToWebinars, I’ve experience the same problems. I have not had problems with other sources of webinars. Hi; I am new to GoToWebinar and I have some questions; I guess to start I will provide some infor about the event, it is three days offset by a day (7th, 9th, 11th of June) and each day there are 3 live presentations all at different times; each presentation is different. Is there a way to setup registration for all three events at once? It seems it treats each day as it's own event. Is there a way to setup Event time slots for the presenters and presentations? All I can do is see 1 block 0930h to 1530h for each day. How can I set the attendees and register limits? I bought the package for 500 attendees but the register limit will not change from 250. The info button says I have a limit of 500 attendees and 5000 registrants not sure which one I should trust here. How can I add custom images and logos? I see the buttons for adding images an dlogos but when I click them, nothing happens. No browser opens or anything. I tried drag and drop but it just opened the image in the browser. Finally.... Dear Community, After the success of the integration of GoToWebinar with Eloqua, we have created a webinar on GoToWebinar. We wanted to send invitation email with Eloqua, with an Eloqua Landing Page and a registration form. Each form registration was supposed to pass on the data to GoToWebinar, to receive recall email one day before the event. We have connected the N° of webinar to the campaign in Eloqua. We can see all registrations in the submission form in Eloqua, but there is a big gap between registrations (Eloqua:69 versus GoToWebinar:28) I've tried to reach the call support but they can't answer me why there is this gap. I have a panelist that could not join the webinar using the join link. He was receiving an error that the application could not be found or site could not be found. I have a Case Number for this, 15146547. I gave the panelist the phone number to call in and participate that way. He was able to call in and hear us, but he did not have an audio pen, because he could not join the session via his join link. I talked to LogMeIn Support and was told that he would have to get his unique pin after he joined. Well, if he can't join, which is why he was calling in, how is he suppose to have access to the PIN? This is a process flaw that needs to be fixed. I, as the organizer cannot stop managing an event to figure out why someone can't join or why we cannot see them in the Staff list after they have called in with the staff toll free number and Webinar ID. If he can't join the browser, he can't get the PIN, but can hear us with the phone call, but we don't know he is there listening. Please fix this. They have all been saved with the set up as below; Since we moved to BST the webinar has corrected itself in the set up menu to this; But when the reminder goes out it is saying 7pm GMT. Although in theory 7pm GMT is the same as 8pm BST and therefore correct, most won't remember that they need to add the hour on and be online at 8pm. What I would like to do is run the webinar LIVE for the US, and then play the recording for Australia. However, I cannot create a simu-live or a recorded event without loading in the recording during creation of the event in GTW. I would like to create both events, provide one link for customers to choose their ideal event time and register, and then run the first event live. I have run a few webinars with an average of 200 people online from home for the past few months during lock down in the UK. I always feel a bit panicky about my home wifi! Hi! Why can't I attend webinars with sound any longer? I'm using Ubuntu/Linux. It has worked a long time and last week it was fine! Now I just get the option to call in, no sound in the browser. It used to be like this in Firefox but now it's the same in Chrome. I tried upgrading Chrome from version 70.0.3538.77 to 89.0.4389.82 but it's the same. Previously I would get an email notification when somebody registers for my webinars. Now I am not receiving the notification emails anymore. I tried toggling the setting from 'no notification mail' to 'send notification mail' a couple of times. But doesn't seem to do the trick. Anybody else having the same issue or knows how to solve it? Don't feel like checking registrations every 10 minutes.
