Please assist me with setting up the security features.
We want our staff to be able to work from home but not be able to download our files onto their home devices for obvious security and confidentiality reasons.
What other issues might I not have thought of?
Here are the steps to disable file transfer.
1. Remove that user from local administrators on the target PC.
2. Under the LMI Dashboard for that PC go to Preferences -- Security -- Show Details
3. Add the user account and set only the following: login and remote control with R W
That'll prevent the file transfer portion of logmein for that user on that PC.
If you select D on the Remote Control Details, the user can copy and paste once logged on. If it's not selected, the copy and paste feature is disabled.

This does NOT work. Non-admin users are still able to arag/drop to and from client and host with the suggested settings.
I have been trying to disable file transfer from client to host and viceversa for a month now. Documention provided by LMI is outdated or does not exist. Please advise.
