How to use GoToMeeting with live audience
Hello GoToMeeting users!
We are a homeowner association that started using GoToMeeting for board meetings during the Covid pandemic. Now that we've resumed in-person meetings, we still want to use GoToMeeting to include association members who'd prefer to log in from home.
That has created a technical problem resulting in audio feedback, echos and awkward communications.
As long as the GoToMeeting audience simply listens and watches, it's OK. But there appears to be no acceptable way for GTM participants to make themselves heard by the live audience, or for the live audience to comfortably hear the GTM participants. The hookups we've tried produce feedback and echoes.
Does anyone have ideas for how to overcome these issues, either with GoToMeeting or another LogMeIn product?
Many thanks

wsmiller475 GoToMeeting employs a feedback reduction technique so that if your microphone is far enough away from the speakers it should keep echo to a minimum. How far away is the mic from your in-person meeting speakers?
Have you tried using the mute-all function when in-person presentations are at hand, until the meeting is open to discussion?
