Firefox not supported for hosting or attending in the browser

I am using Firefox 82 and I just got below message when trying to join meeting:

"Your browser or operating system doesn’t support this meeting.
To join your meeting online, open this link in the latest version of Google Chrome:".

Do you plan making meetings usable on Firefox?

  • Hi everyone,  To host or attend a GoToMeeting in a web browser you must use Chrome, Microsoft Edge or another Chrome based web browser such as Chromium.

    Hi kujaw ,

What operating system are you using there?

Have you been able to join GoToMeetings with the web app before?

      Arch Linux 64-bit.

Nope, that's my first meeting ever.

Same issue occurs on Ubuntu 18.04 using Firefox.

Why no news on this yet? It is ridiculous that Firefox is not supported.. It is supported by a lot of much less well known/ established (and free..) services! When will this be available? I don't want to have to install a new browser specifically to use this service when Firefox is supported on everything else!

asemblance1  Firefox can work, but the audio engine is still not compatible there.  We hope to have full compatibility this year.
