This works for our Windows 7 workstations but for Win 8.1 and Win 10...it doesn't even show up in the list when you do gpresult /r ? Each OS representing a workstation has its own Computer OU..meaning all Win7 workstations in it's OU, Win 8 in it's own and Win 10 in its own.
User is not a local administrator....is Win 8.1 and Win 10 have a different path to AppData ?

I can't believe this is a still a thing in the year 2020. Can you please come up with a way so this can be ran where it doesn't run an exe from app data? It's not safe to allow your average user to run exes at all and especially not from app data where most malware/ransomware is ran from. Most things can be built into browsers now.

Hi wedfghnjm
Most malware installs to the appdata because that is where legitimate applications run from. If you would like to switch to a browser based experience please switch to GoToAssist v5. You can do this by signing into your account on the website and clicking on the menu in the top right.
- Eric Crawford1New MemberHere's what worked for us, whitelist this: %localappdata%\GoToAssist Remote Support Customer\g2ax_customer_combined_dll_core_win32_x86_1361.exe
Or to avoid the inevitable rename of file... %localappdata%\GoToAssist Remote Support Customer\g2ax*.exe

- John A1New MemberI have had the Cryptoblocker prevention running for a number of years and never had a problem with GotoAssist ( FastSupport ) now users cannot launch the application ( they are not installing it just running ). please fix so that it works as it did.

I'm very sorry, the local appdata folder is required in order to launch the GoToMeeting application during the web browser flow.
Have you considered the Multi-User MSI at all?

Hi John, all of our software has run from the user's profile since Microsoft introduced that structure in the most recent versions of Windows.
- Derrick Pullen1New MemberThe old installer installer was not a .exe. Like others on this forum, our users cannot run exe files. Is there a chance that the launcher will be revered back to the old style? We have hundreds of computers and this is already a nightmare. We are exploring other products at this time as well due to the number of machines that we cannot reach now.

This is how the paths are changing:
Install paths- Windows: Change from %PROGRAMFILES%\Citrix\Product\ to %PROGRAMFILES%\Product\
- Windows: Change from %PROGRAMDATA%\Citrix\Product\ to %PROGRAMDATA%\Product\
- Windows: Change from %LOCALAPPDATA%\Citrix\Product\ to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Product\
- Windows Start Menu: Change from the product shortcut being within a Citrix folder to not being in a folder
Temp files and logs
- Windows per-user: Change from %TEMP%\CitrixLogs\ to %TEMP%\LogMeInLogs\
- Windows per-user: Change from %TEMP%\CitrixDumps\ to %TEMP%\LogMeInDumps\
- Windows per-user: Change from %TEMP%\CitrixUpdates\ to %TEMP%\LogMeInUpdates\
- Windows per-machine: Change from %PROGRAMDATA%\CitrixLogs\ to %PROGRAMDATA%\LogMeInLogs\
- Windows per-machine: Change from %PROGRAMDATA%\CitrixDumps\ to %PROGRAMDATA%\LogMeInDumps\
- John A1New MemberThat path is not blocked. Users cannot run exe's from their profile and that is what is blocked. Please fix, go back to the previous launcher
