Connect on LAN issues Needs Remote Registry running
Can someone please add a button / or checkbox to start the remote registry service when trying to connect on lan. I do this now but it is time consuming. I have a batch file that calls the PSSERVICE.EXE program (Microsoft toolkit) and starts the remote registry (or any service) - but I have to edit the batch file outside of Logmein Rescue and it is difficult to train our helpdesk folks to know how to set this up and use. the syntax is "psservice \\10.101.45.131 start RemoteRegistry " . Hi, I recently used MacKeeper and got about 15 minutes deep into someone having access to my computer over LogMeIn Rescue before realizing “hey wait, this is sketchy”. I closed the connection and ended the session, and I think I uninstalled all of the related software. I can’t find any MacKeeper, Krom, or LMI Rescue files. When I start my LMIRescue Client, I typically start multiple remote sessions, (6 or more). Many times I will put one session on "Hold" for a few minutes, then come back to it and then "Start" the old session, then go to Full Screen again and I'm faced with a small tiny window again. The "Configure View Settings" always reverts back to "Fit to Window" instead of "Stretch to Window". This all happens during the same LMIRescue Client session. If I put them all on Hold and close the LMIR Client then open it up on another workstation or even on the same workstation, and then Start any On Hold sessions up, they all revert back to the tiny Fit to Window views. This is VERY annoying every time I have to switch from several different systems and redo the Configure View Settings from Fit to Window instead of Stretch to Window. Actually I don't know why anyone would use Fit to Window instead of Stretch to Window. Every time you take a session off Hold you have to go to full screen and then redo the view settings. But since the View option is there then simply allow me to be able to choose the default View setting somewhere like in the admin panel to "Stretch to Window". Or just leave it however it was last set. STW always makes more sense! Why would you ever want a tiny Window?? Even your tech support reps liked this idea! I was wondering if was there a possibility to add date/time stamps on Rescue Lens photos. When saving screenshots, we can have that info in the file name/info, however some clients saw the need of having it on the picture itself. I would like to suggest updating the Unattended Sessions Feature. There needs to be a way to Organize sessions into Groups as you add them. When you have dozens of unattended sessions open it becomes confusing which PC's belong to whom. We use logmein rescue for support and it is great! We would like to have an option for the chat window to be show on top and the ability to have an icon on the side of the screen to hide the chat and to easily bring it up. Doing this makes it easier to for the user to work on our program and the user to still be able to read the chat window for instructions. I know the chat window has not changed for years but I am hoping an option could be added to give us a lot more flexablily in supporting our customers. Multiple States: - Chat windows is hidden with an icon that you can click on. The icon would be located on the side of the screen that would always be shown on top. So someone can easily click on it. - If a technician chats it would either flash, show information about a new chat or come up right away. - Once the chat window is open it would always be on top until you "minimize" it to the side of the screen.1.2KViews0likes1Comment
