High physical disk utilization
I keep seeing the Logmein Rescue (32 bit) take a lot of read/write resources on the hard drive. We have several customers with HDDs that can't handle a single program that wants a throughput of 60+ MB/ s to the hard drive very well. What is causing such high demand? Is there anything I can do to reduce it?1.8KViews0likes2CommentsQuestion regarding access to computer
Hi! I have a question regarding remote access: today IT asked me to access "secure.logmeinrescue.com/", to enter a code they gave me and to download a file. After they managed to solve my problem, the file I downloaded was gone and out of nowhere I had "logmein123" marked as a bookmark on the chrome browser. I'm wondering if there's any way to know if they can still access my computer, since there's nothing to uninstall and I can't know for sure if they logged out from my computer. Thank you in advance!Solved2.1KViews0likes2CommentsAzure AD Sync for Rescue vs LogMeIn for automatic user provisioning
Hi, Currently planning to use Rescue with our Active Directory. The setup we have is a local on-premise AD, synced to Office 365 using AAD Connect. I want to avoid any form of setup of Logmein Rescue on-premise and therefore was looking to set automatic user provisioning directly from Azure AD, using this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/logmein-provisioning-tutorial But then I also came across this link which suggests downloading an on-premise setup file to configure the sync: https://community.logmein.com/t5/Rescue-News/Azure-AD-Sync-for-Rescue-is-Available-on-Beta-New-Features-Fixes/ba-p/283563 Question: I'm slightly confused over the difference of both those links. Can I simply just use the first link to configureautomatic user provisioning as well as setting up the Technician groups and ignore the second link (which in fact is still in beta). Lastly, what is the main difference between these articles? Many Thanks AJ1KViews0likes0CommentsLog4J Vulnerability

Hi, I recently used MacKeeper and got about 15 minutes deep into someone having access to my computer over LogMeIn Rescue before realizing “hey wait, this is sketchy”. I closed the connection and ended the session, and I think I uninstalled all of the related software. I can’t find any MacKeeper, Krom, or LMI Rescue files. I read a number of recent articles about how MK is more legit now, but I don’t know if I buy it.Solved2KViews0likes1CommentWhen upgrading Windows remotely via Logmein Rescue, will support session automatically reconnect?
I wish to upgrade a client's computer remotely using Logmein Rescue. I have upgraded systems from Windows 7 or Windows 8.x to Windows 10 before, but not remotely. My client is elderly and not comfortable with technological things, so I'd prefer she not have to interact with the computer at all. I don't want be locked out of her computer upon rebooting, due to dialog boxes requiring input to move forward. Has anyone had experience with this?1.3KViews0likes1CommentFile Manager with Android mobiles
Hello, I have the following questions: 1. If an Android mobile user has deleted few files (images, videos, text and pdf files) from the internal memory of the phone just before the start of the remote session, will the technician be able to see or retrieve the deleted files using File Manager? 2. Assuming an Android mobile user has factory reset his phone or erased the internal memory of his phone through Android device manager and then set up the LogmeIn Rescue app freshly from the Playstore in that phone. In this case will the technician be able to see or retrieve the erased data or files using File Manager? 3. Also, in general is it possible for the technician to see or retrieve the erased or deleted data or files from the Android mobile phone using the LogmeIn Rescue app? Assume the Android mobile as Vivo V3 running Android version 5.1.1 for the above mentioned scenarios.1.7KViews0likes2CommentsLogmein AV - It is not practical and effective
Hello everyone, I need a really effective solution when using Logmein AV. Many times it blocks a driver (usually from a webcam on notebooks), among other program executables (programs from some service providers) and I can't really create a rule so that it doesn't happen, or show to the AV that a certain action performed by him is no longer to be done in that file. Anyone can help with that?2.5KViews0likes4Comments
