Add Clean Screen sharing option to the GoTo App
I'm a corporate account user and we all recently switched from Classic to New. We always shared our Window/Screen using the clean screen option and now I really miss it. Our events are always recorded and I don't like having the date, time, open apps, and other task bar items visible to anyone who watches. While video content may be applicable it can appear outdated to a viewer even after a few months.15Views0likes2CommentsChat Ability for All Attendees
Can you have attendees in GoToWebinar talk or text "chat" to each other during a live 500 attendee event?? If you can't - PLEASE - change it so they can. It is terrible that there is no way to have the attendees interact with each other - We have a weekly webinar on the same day, and same time EVERY week. Our clients like to be able to come to the event and interact with each other - and with the GoToMeeting there is no way to do that. Only the organizer can see the "Questions" from attendees. Let us know if there are plans to FIX this, thanks!49KViews4likes172CommentsAdvancing Slides Functionality
I really like the remote-control functionality where a presenter or organizer can 'give access to the keyboard and mouse.' However, it would be great to isolate just the keyboard so multiple speakers can advance their slides using one master deck. So, in theory, the organizer could always 'own' the master deck, start screen sharing, and allow keyboard sharing so at the appropriate time, each speaker can talk and advance their own slides seamlessly and not have to worry about 'screen share', 'stop presenting' 'pass to new presenter', etc. I also think being able to upload the master deck into a private library could be useful so it's contained within the tool should the organizer loose connectivity and the other co-organizers could take over.10Views0likes0CommentsAllow Panelist(s) to See All Questions
Not so much a question as a feature request. (I thought we had a category for that.) Please add the ability for an organizer to allow a specific panelist (or all panelists) to view ALL questions. Currently, must promote them to Organizer, which gives them the power to END the meeting. I always warn them when it's necessary to do this. I point out Exit Webinar vs End Webinar should they need to withdraw from the session. It has still happened by accident. It also gives them too many other powers, like ability to dismiss people. Mostly it works out okay, until the curious "organizer" starts clicking on options!28KViews12likes63CommentsAllow Organizers to control which webcams attendees see
Hi Glenn, I would like an ability to turn on/off webcams. Specifically, I suggest to add a feature to manually change the speaker cameras that attendees view. There should be a way for organizers to have the option to push the webcam view to the attendees to see only the active speaker view or a gallery view or select speakers. In the classic version, I can simulate this by manually turning cameras off and on (which sends the speaker a request to activate their camera).361Views0likes1CommentOverlay a link over a playing video at a specific time
With GoToWebinar supporting evergreen webinars // automated events, it would be incredibly helpful for both our organization and our attendees if we could overlay a clickable link (via lightbox, like in YouTube or Wistia) at a predetermined time so that attendees can be delivered a Call to Action and take that immediate action rather than having to type-out a link presented on screen.206Views0likes1CommentStart webinars on Android tablets
I'd like the ability to host webinars on my android tablet. I'm blind, that makes using a computer inconvenient for me. I use a device similar to that. I use the braille note touch pluss, which is like an android tablet with a braille keyboard on it that I can type on, and to navigate the screen by pressing the space bar. But I would like the ability to host my webinars on it.1.4KViews0likes3CommentsHybrid Webinar Recommendation
Recommendation: Create a webinar platform that is a combination of a Classic & Simulated Live webinar. This would be in 3 parts: 1) Live - host to introduce the webinar, expectations, etc. 2) Play pre-recorded webinar 3) Live - time for questions, and closing of the webinar I believe that this would be a great addition to the current offerings. Thank you for your consideration.2.3KViews2likes3CommentsHosting a GoToWebinar from a Chromebook
I need to do this. I can't do this. When will this be supported? I noticed this question was asked back in 2016 as well. There were a few replies asking for updates that went unanswered. I thought, "Here we are in the middle of 2018, maybe it's just time to ask the question again." 🙂 I really like using my Chromebook. I really DON'T like blowing the dust off my MacBook. Please tell me how to run a GoToWebinar on a Chromebook. Even if it's something in beta...I'll be a beta tester.5.4KViews0likes8CommentsCountdown Timer for Presenters (Panelists)
New member here! My company just switched over from Webinato to GoToWebinar, so I'm still learning all the features of this platform. On Webinato, one of the best features was a countdown timer that main organizer could activate on all panelist and co-organizer's screens (but the audience couldn't see it). If the paneliest was supposed to be done with their presentation after 20 minutes, I'd set it to 20 minutes and it would countdown for them. It was the only I was ever able to keep speakers on time! Before I started using it, speakers would always go over their time limit. Does GoToWebinar have a countdown timer? Could you consider adding one? Thank you!3.9KViews3likes4Comments
