Keep Chat Box Pinned on Top when using PowerPoint
I would like to add to this by saying we have also found this to be a problem. When using PowerPoint with lots of animations converting to PDF is not an option. We also have several trainers without multiple screens. Can you please refer to developers to have chat box (and people box) stay open again as it used to behave as this is very inconvenient now. Unable to share camera in GotoTraining
Hello, sporadically, I cannot share the camera, and there are no other ways to solve the problem than terminating the session and opening it again. The solution is very impractical because, closing the session, all the attendees will be kicked out. I have two cameras connected to the laptop, the internal one and the Logitech external one. Swapping the camera that I want to share does not help. I do not have any firewall or network restrictions and I'm connecting always from the same clean unfiltered internet all the time. There are no other processes using the camera. I'm using GoTo versionVersion 3.38.0 from Windows 10x64 bit, 16 Mb Ram. Any ideas? Kind regards, Marco S. Zuppone aka StockTrader
Chat Box unable to function during a powerpoint
For the last few weeks, our instructors have complained that the chat box is no longer visible while going through a PowerPoint. Many of them have confirmed that it used to work, but no longer does. Another Instructor mentioned that there was once a setting to keep chat windows "Always on top", while there no longer is one. The only way they can see chat when going through the PowerPoint is to exit the PowerPoint screen and go back to the training app. If this is related to a new update, we'd all like for that setting to be implemented again if possible. If there is already a solution to this, I'd like to know it. My current workaround has been to turn the powerpoint into a pdf and share it via course materials. It will pull up on the same screen as the training app and thus can be used along with the chat box.Whiteboard
Hi there. We are new to Go To Training and have just offered two training programs thus far. One thing that we noticed is that we really need a whiteboard feature to work long math problems. I'm wondering what has worked well for other folks - some possibilities we have thought of... - using something like MS whiteboard in collaboration with Go To Training - switching to another screen and using a digital imaging camera (we have hovercam) connected to the computer and writing out the math problem on a blank piece of paper Really would love to hear about other user's experiences and recommendations. Thank you.
