Hi Fred,
I appreciate the use case detailed here, and can relate to your experience.
We will certainly review this with the Product Team to see how many other users are affected by having so many active sessions on hold, and ways to manage those differently. Hopefully you find a more reliable workflow in the meantime, such as using the Tech Console to launch tear-away sessions and changing the view to 'Full Screen' in order to maximize visibility.
