No sound with Soundblaster AE-9

Hi, i have a new soundcard, the Soundblaster AE-9 and i have no sound in Gotomeeting.

The soundcard is selected in settings.

I have tried Direct Mode and SBX profiles in the Creative app, nothing works.

I have no problem with my other device, the Razer Kraken TE THX usb dac.

Then the Soundblaster AE9 is not compatible?

This is the picture with the error.

  • It is solved.

The problem is that your GotoMeeting app doesnt work with this soundcard.

You need to update  the app.

    Using google chrome works perfect.

  • Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting sound with your Sound Blaster AE-9 in Gotomeeting.

    Hi blindway

Welcome to the GoTo Community. I'm not able to view the image on my work computer, if possible can you post it as a screenshot?

One thing you may also check is for updated audio drivers.

Please, try to access the link, it is safe.

The Ae9 drivers are updated. Im using Windows 11 Pro N 21H2 updated.

Im in contact with Creative to identify if the issue is yours or not.

Would be nice if you can tell me if this hardware is compatible with Goto or not because it is not a regular sound card, it works trough the ACM (Audio Control Module), maybe that is the question or maybe not but the soundcard works great but with your software.

This is the link of the soundcard.

        Hi blindway,

If Windows recognizes your sounds card and uses it GoTo Meeting should as well, but I have seen cases where high-end audio devices we not recognized until they were set to regular stereo 44.1 khz. Can you check your audio settings in Windows and test?
