VPN domain's tap device is down tunnel error
Hello Hamachi Community, * I am a new user. * We are trying to play arma3 on a LAN. * I researched the above area in these discussions and found: I recently had the same error message "VPN domain's tap device is down" following a Windows 10 update, after using Hamachi for years. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Hamachi, problem persisted. Googled lots of Windows stuff, got very confused. Read your post. I found two versions of Logmein virtual ethernet adapter drivers in Device Manager, removed them both (with Hamachi still trying to run), then uninstalled Hamachi, then reinstalled, and problem went away. No idea why.... Many thanks. * Only trouble is I can not find the virtual ethernet adapter drivers in Device Manager because I have no clue what I am looking for. * I see nothing that says "Hamachi" * I am using Windows 10 Home. * I hope I gave enough info. I have an Ubuntu server, Win10 home PC and hamachi network between them. And I can transmit packages less than 1,3 kb. But if I try to send or receive smth bigger - I can't. Connection is still fine but this package will be lost. Firewalls are shutted down, no antivirus installed. Issue is somewhere in my home PC hamachi, bcs with other PCs server works fine. Can you please provide the option to power on hamachi from a command line? This is really becoming a problem, here is what happens: workstation restarts, due to windows operating system update, environment power condition, etc, and once everything restarts, hamachi is in the "powered off" condition. Then we are screwed, because there is no remote access, and now a human being has to make a physical trip to the workstation to click on "power on". Please add this functionality, I am a long time hamachi user. Hello community, I have 3 Networks with different computers each one and I'm able to do a ping -s 3008 with no issues with all computers in the 3 networks but less with one computer with CentOS, if the ping is less than 3008 bytes it works fine. At the beggining I thought it would be wrong MTU configuration but weirdly if a join to a different hamachi network this CentOS machine it's able to ping -s 3008 fine, so the problem it's just between 2 computers with CentOS (I have another CentOS machine in other hamachi network and ping -s 3008 works fine). I've tried to remove and reinstall hamachi deleting /var/lib/logmein-hamachi but the problem is still there. I also check IPtable configuration and it's fine. Any ideas what else I can do? Hello, I've been having a big problem with Hamachi for 24 hours. At the beginning it was telling me that the incoming connection was blocked, now I have this problem and also Hamachi doesn't have access to the internet. I've been using Hamachi on a BeagleBone Black as it's a great way to make a small portable device externally accessible. Specifically I'm using the latest ARM Beta version,logmein-hamachi_2.1.0.203-1_armhf.deb. With hamachi running, its IP routing entries (via route command) are simply: 25.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 ham0 link-local 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 ham0 On a few occasions though I have had it add an additional route show up: default 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 ham0 This supersedes the default internet route out the devices Ethernet connection, making it go to the Hamachi connection instead which isn't providing internet access (only a mesh network between devices). By trying to put internet communication through the Hamachi network all internet access fails, including to Hamachi servers, and so the device drops from the Hamachi network and has to be fixed by manually adding the default Ethernet route back in (route add default gw [gateway_port] eth0). This looks like an odd bug in the current beta version. I'm not familiar enough with Linux routing to understand if there's a way I can stop this from happening, so for now I've just made a workaround script to remake my internet route if Hamachi tries to take over.SolvedDWSAIT5 years agoNew Contributor2.1KViews0likes1Comment
