Can I edit/remove the number forwarding to extension message
I have my main incoming number set up to forward to an extension. Is there a way to turn of the "forwarding to extension 700" message before the call is sent to the extension. I don't really need the caller to know they are being forwarded I just want the call to go directly to the extension I've chosen.davidhking4 days agoNew Contributor72Views0likes1CommentChanging Extension Number range
When I go to add an extension it gives me options starting with extension 700. However, I am trying to move from another platform and all my users have an extension printed on their business cards. I'd like to use the same extension numbers in grasshopper so that I don't have to reprint everyones business cards. Is there a way to change the available extensionn number range? I need it to start at 220, not at 700.davidhking18 days agoNew Contributor63Views0likes1CommentHelp with Incoming Calls
We currently have 3 users and use call blasting so that when someone calls, all 3 of our phones ring simultaneously. This has generally worked well however my line is currently not receiving an incoming calls through Grasshopper - just the missed call notification. My wife is one of the other users and we have the same cell phone carrier (T-Mobile) and same account. Calls come through to her phone generally with no issues. We can be sitting next to each other and her phone rings and mine does not. It seems to happen most frequently with calls that show as an "unknown" caller on my phone. Oddly enough, on her phone, these often show up with a name. I'm at a loss of what else to do. I have tried so far: signed out from the app, uninstalled, reinstalled rebooted my phone reset network settings removed my user account, re added my user account verified correct settings on my phone (silence unknown callers is OFF, no scam shield, or other scam blocking is on per TMobile) Spent over an hour each on the phone with Grasshopper support and Tmobile support. Both say it is the others problem Hoping someone has some other ideas on what I can do. TIA.connerc152 months agoNew Contributor195Views0likes3CommentsTwo Separate Business Accounts
We have two separate Grasshopper business accounts. One is medical related and one is a roofing company. Is there a way to have both numbers ring to the same phones? These are for the owner of the businesses and office manager of the businesses. I don't see a way to have two Grasshopper apps on the phones. Call are being received, but is it. that you have to switch between the two daily? The owner is logged into the medical business account and receives calls. The office manager is logged into the roofing company and receives those. Each is set up to roll over to the other person's phone if they don't answer. The rollover is not happening to the other person. TIAPatty317Roof4 months agoNew Member386Views0likes1CommentMultiple Accounts Due To Rigid Extensions
Background: My wife and I run several small businesses under different names. Different company names have different greetings. However, there are five different TYPES of companies. The structure of Grasshopper's "extension" logic is too rigid for us to have all of our phone numbers, for all of the company names, under one Grasshopper account since pressing "1" would have a different meaning depending on the type of business. Problem: Creating multiple Grasshopper accounts would allow us to use different sets of extensions; however, we would be forced to pay for FIVE separate small business accounts. Question: Since my wife and I would be the only users on each account, and since our cell phone numbers would be identical on all accounts, is there some way to not pay full price for the four additional accounts?FredLackey5 months agoNew Member474Views0likes3CommentsHow can I prevent my Grasshopper calls being flagged as SPAM or Robo calls?
