Post-Webinar Certificates - ability to select who receives a certificate
Good afternoon, Is there a way to be able to select which attendees receive a certificate after attending a webinar? For example, we would like the attendees meet a minimum time/attendance requirement to be able to receive a certificate. I would like toset the Preferred Number (shown first) for a webinar through the API. This is currently only available in the UI. Here's my current workaround: I have a ‘template’ set up for each mix of 'GoTo Webinar Account | Primary Audio Country', (we have 6 GTW accounts), which ends up being 13 webinar templates. Then when I need a new webinar, I clone a template instead of creating new, and it carries over the exact audio details, including the ‘preferred’ country. That seems to work to get what I need done. In my testing, for whatever reason, when I clone a webinar in the past it does not clone the audio info. But if the template webinar is in the future, it does copy the audio details to the new webinar. So I set up a monthly automation in Zapier that sets the start date for each of those webinars to be in 364 days, essentially pushing out the webinar to keep it in the future.james_p2 months agoActive ContributorReviewed by moderator267Views1like1CommentChange the font or offer more font choices for Certificates
I see that the new certificate format offers some new features like a signature and such, but is there any way to switch away from the new script used for an attendees name? We're getting some complaints that an "I" looks like a "J" and names are otherwise tough to read. Is there any way to go back to the old font?ASEWebinars6 months agoActive ContributorInvestigating791Views1like5CommentsRecord presenter webcams and presentation separately

Hello! One feature that would be so helpful - especially in a more inclusive era of business - would be to have the transcript available as subtitles via toggle button on a recorded webinar - scheduled or on-demand. I'm sure having live subtitles would be very costly, but for a recording being offered as either a scheduled or on-demand webinar, then if there were a way for an attendee to hit a subtitles button to display the text on-screen... that would really benefit folks with hearing complications, ADD, and ESL needs. thanks for your consideration! ~Laura Weber ACSIA Partners, LLCACSIAPartners2 months agoActive ContributorDelivered1.1KViews1like5CommentsIncrease picklist size on custom registration questions
Hey GoTo. Enterprise user here for the past 3 years. We’ve been waiting for this update since we first came onboard with you guys and we’ve frequently been told that your tech team will apply this small change, and nothing seems to happen…. Please help! It’s regarding the picklist length of custom registration questions, which is currently set to a maximum of 20 custom options. As a prominent UK university, we run a lot of webinars for prospective students. As part of our data collection, a key thing for us is to know what a student’s primary subject area of interest is, so that we can tailor our messaging about courses to students as part of our communications plans in the future. Crucially, we have over 50 subject areas that students can choose from, which are imminently due to increase. With a limit of 20 custom options on your current custom fields… we’ve had to create silly workaround whereby we ask the same questions 3 times, with an alphabetised subject list. Here’s an example registration page for reference: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/242056814405010016 This means our forms are longer and more off-putting, which subsequently hurts our conversion rates. Such a simple fix: increase the custom options for drop down picklists. Why is there even a limit? I hope you agree that it’s a super quick win. Keen to know your thoughts. Thanks AdamAdamMacPherson2 years agoActive ContributorReviewed by moderator797Views1like2CommentsCustomize Go to Stage Registration form

It would be helpful if users had the ability to customize emails to registrants and attendees more than what the system allows now. Specifically, for the registration confirmation email, it is not necessary to put the entire event description in the email. It just makes an already busy email more wordy ... which causes less people to actually read the email. I have some pertinent information I want to add to this confirmation email; however, it gets drown out with all of the other information that GoTo includes in these emails. Same situation with the reminder emails. There is a lot of information included that I would like to have the ability to delete or move. Once item specifically is the option to add the event information to your calendar. This does not need to be included in every reminder email and it certainly does not have to take up valuable real estate at the top of the email. It is just something else that distracts people from the actual information I am trying to share. If we, the users, had the ability to customize the sections of the email to allow us to delete content and move content around it would help us better serve the audience we are trying to reach. Hundreds of our participants are blocked from downloading and logging into GoToWebinar’s platform by firewall protections at their places of work, and we anticipate this number continuing to grow. However, those who are blocked by firewalls are still able to access our presentations over the phone using the number and access code from their GoToWebinar email invite. In order to accurately capture the attendance of our presentations, we need to know how many participants are calling in. This metric has become increasingly important for gauging the reach of our program as we have transitioned to an exclusively virtual environment during the pandemic. While we appreciate the updates that GoToWebinar has made in the Analytics section, we also understand that collecting call-in data is available for GoToMeeting and would like to request the addition of this feature to GoToWebinar as well. New member here! My company just switched over from Webinato to GoToWebinar, so I'm still learning all the features of this platform. Need: We would like the event organizer to be able to attach a pdf document to either the Post-session Survey (preferred) or the Follow-up email to attendees. Our organization utilizes GoToWebinar to provide Educational Sessions and grant Continuing Education (CE) Credit to attendees. We apply for and receive the ability to grant Continuing Education Credits from our National Organization (NAMSS). Once approved, NAMSS sends us a CE Certificate that is to be given to each attendee to prove they participated in a "NAMSS-approved CE". These CE's are required for re-certification purposes. The document they provide must be sent to each attendee and currently, there is no automatic way to upload and send the CE to the attendee in GoToWebinar. We do see that GoToWebinar added the ability to generate a CE, but that will not work for our purpose. We must use the document that NAMSS provided us, so we need the ability to upload a document and send to all attendees at the close of the program. Another use for this ability could be to attach a small document or presentation and email out to the attendees after the program. Thank you for your consideration. When sharing the poll results, the organizer and attendees can view the results, but the panelist/presenter cannot. We tried undocking the "Audience View" pane and expading it, but the font is too blurry to read. Our solution is for the Organizer to give an audible report of the results ("25% said they have no prior experience"). This could work, but is not ideal. It would be much better for the pan./pres. to SEE the results than to try to remember what they were from what someone said. Plus, to the audience it feels like someone is reading contents of a slide (which is exaclty what happens), and presenters know that reading a slide to an audience is not good practice when presenting. I think it would be a really good idea to have the same approve/deny controls over who registers to watch videos on a Private GoToStage channel that we have over who can attend the live webinar itself. As it stands, the "private" channel really isn't all that private, as anyone could just share the link with whoever they want and then anyone can register. If a competitor got ahold of the link from maybe a potential customer who is weighing their options, there's nothing stopping them from just registering and watching the video and taking confidential information. We'd like to ideally be able to share the link rather openly and loudly to increase visibility but then screen the registrants so that we can control who actually views the content. This lack of control over who can access the "private" channel kind of renders the whole concept useless, no? Unless I am misunderstanding some aspect that would give me greater control over who can and cannot see the videos.dpiserchia3 months agoActive ContributorDeclined3KViews1like7CommentsAdd a multi-session registration report

The hand raise icon/emoticon in GoTo Training and Webinar should be an ordered response so the facilitator can tell who raised their hand first, second, etc. This gives the facilitator the ability to incorporate some competition-based Q&A. The facilitator can also tie in rewards/incentives into their activities to further foster excitement and participation among the participants and change up the pace from time to time.
