Hey all, Is there a way of accessing webinar registration/attendance information after your plan has elapsed? I accessed it last week but now when I go to my former dashboard it tells me it's suffered a "breakdown". The latest update on the Emails sent from GoTo Webinar such as confirmations and registration does not allow us anymore to adapt the colors to our company colors as before. Why would there be an update that leaves the customer with fewer customize options than before. The new structure of the Emails is fine, but we need to be able to adapt the colors to have them CI conform. Hi There seem to be differences in the way you edit confirmation emails for standard webinars vs Webcasts. For Webcasts, within Branding & Colours you can edit the backgrounds, borders and titles buttons but these changes only appear to work on the registration page and NOT the confirmation email to registrants. How do we go about editing the same settings as above that will take effect on "confirmation email to registrants"? We had a long standing recurring webinar, with events scheduled into 2024 that somehow got cancelled or deleted. I noticed that we had conducted the webinar 101 times. Hello, This morning we noticed that the dropdown list of country names in the registration form are out of alphabetical order. For example, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are listed with the countries starting with "G" instead of with the countries starting with the letter "U". There are several others as well. Switzerland is listed with the "C" countries. This is an URGENT issue for us as we are required by our company to make country a MANDATORY registration field! We cannot remove it! We can't alter it as we don't have access to edit this dropdown list. This is causing our customers to NOT register for our webinars when they do not find their country in the list! This is very bad and a very urgent matter! They are required to choose a country. They find their country is not listed (because they look under the proper alphabetical location) and they think they cannot choose one and therefore cannot register. Upon searching for their country under the proper alphabetical location and not finding it, they would have no reason to think they should look for it in other parts of the alphabetical list. We are losing registrations every moment that this list is out of alphabetical order! This is a very urgent matter to our company and will be a key factor as the cause of a decrease in registration. We used the GTW webcast today and it left me with questions as an organizer. We really like the streamlined look for attendees and I hope this is the view of the future. As an organizer, the pre-entered info showed in the chat on the control panel and in the attendee question box. But any additional information added to the chat on the control panel and sent to all attendees, did not show on the attendee view of the webcast. Our workaround was to quickly sign in as an attendee; ask an innocuous question and then answer as an organizer through the question box from the control panel. Why, because when you answer something in the question box as an organizer and choose send to all, the response that attendees see includes the original question. We want to be considerate to our attendees and continue to encourage interaction through the question box. Do we have something set up incorrectly in our webinar set up that would fix this?Any other suggestions? Hi, I am testing the live streaming of a webcast with Linkedin and I am facing the following two difficulties: 1) I would like to change the Linkedin credentials for live streaming of the webcast. I mean, we have the time zone GMT -6 For Mexico, but this 2023, we did not change for DST, then we still on GTM-6 for Mexico, but the portal apply automatically the DST. Then , when we program a session it is reported one hour before, for example if my session is for 10:00 am in Mexico time, the portal send a message that it will begin at 09:00 am because it is the old time in Mexico with DST. The educational world requires PROOF of completing online training. In this case, GoToWebinar ON DEMAND allows you to register to watch a pre-recorded video; however, if you leave the video early it immediately allowed the Survey to pop up and it issues a certificate without requiring the attendee to watch the entire pre-recorded video. This is truly a real world problem that needs to be addressed. Attendees need to be able to watch a pre-recorded training 24/7 without going to a live webinar event or using Webcast. Recommendation: Correct the problem. If someone leaves the pre-recorded video early mark there spot where they left and when they return they can resume watching the pre-recorded training. Once they reach the end of the recording, give then a screen that thanks them and then allows for a survey and certificate. By the way, I told the Dashboard setup to issue the survey and certificate 1-hour AFTER completion, not immediately upon leaving early. I have been hosting webinars on GoToWebinar for 2 years now, where attendees join from various devices. We hosted a webinar on Friday, and for the first time in the 2 years I have been hosting webinars on GoToWebinar, we have an attendee that says he did attend the webinar, but it shows that he was not in attendance. I contacted Support, and they informed me that if people dialled in (connect on their phone, by clicking on the JOIN WEBINAR button in the mail on their phone), they would not show up on the Attendance report. How is this possible, as they still need to type in their details before connecting, and this has never happened before, even though we have hosted webinars for thousands of people? Hi. Since December, we can no longer see the number of views for each of our videos in the library dated after the end of May 21. They are still there prior to that date. With the analytics, we can only look back 12 months, so we'd have to go into each individual report for the remaining recordings each month to get the numbers! We get an error sometimes or when we return days later to check the settings, they have reverted to None (meaning, no follow up emails get sent). This is a HUGE problem for our organization. We use the GoTo platform for our Council Meetings. We have to add a fair amount of panelists to each meeting. An address book for panelists is currently not an option so we have found that it's easiest to copy a previous webinar as the panelists carry over. However, we have recently noticed that when we copy a webinar, the subject line of the reminder email pulls the date from the original webinar and not the newly created one. Any news on whether or not there will be updates and/or enhancements made to the virtual event feature? We used it last year for a couple of multi-day events. There are two significant issues that will prevent us from using it again this year if they are not resolved. The inability to edit and/or delete the email templates. The fact that registrants aren't able to join a session until the scheduled start time. Loved the rest of the functionality but these were definitely hiccups for us. Hello, We've only been using the GTW Webcast Mode which eliminates phone / dial in option for attendees but we've been getting a charge for minutes usage every month. Just wondering what the OpenVoice charge could be related to Webcast Mode platform? It's minimal but figured I'd ask for the new year! I teach classes that range in size, but on the smaller classes, my students want to be able to identify the speaker by name. They cannot do so in the GoToWebinar control panel. Only my name - the teacher - shows up when I speak. Since I am the presenter, everyone's name shows up on my panel. Not so, with my students, and they continually must ask who is speaking. I was practicing with GTW so see how webcast looked and worked for an attendee....I used a previous powerpoint to simulate sharing a screen...and i had closed captioning on the screen. Ok, so that was weird. As presenter - my desktop was set up as I would usually do for a webinar. I has a different desktop device to act as the attendee. I muted the mic cause the closed captioning freaked me out a bit. Then closed captioning displayed that the audio was too low to display. Any idea where the closed captioning came from? If webcast provides closed captioning, i would probably switch all of our events to webcast instead of webinars. We recorded a live webinar last week, using the Pause button on webcams to hide the presenters who were not speaking. During the live webinar these showed as a black screen with the word "paused" on it. In the recording of the webinar one of our paused speakers shows as a black screen which is fine, however the other two of our "paused" speakers haven't disappeared, they are showing as a still image of themselves and their background. They should all be hidden as they were during the live webinar. This has ruined the recording. Developers-- in GoTo Webinar, it would be really beneficial to allow Handouts to be sent out in a similar way as polls. In the current ap. a handout is available as soon as a person logs in. If there is a special or anything free to attendees, they will be able to grab iit as soon as they log in. There is no incentive to stay for the entire program. They can come in, grab the free stuff and leave. If you made handouts like polls, they could be release whenever the organizer wanted to. At the very least make it an option of rleasing as soon as attndees arrive, or at the end. OR allow for an attachement (like a pdf) to be added to the followup email to attendees (like the videos) without having to host the file and use a URL in the download for them to do on their own. OR allow for other file formats to be included in Polls. OE allow for files to be attached in Suerveys, since they are sent after the webinar. The other request I would make is to allow for custom certificates. Current model only allows for application generated certificates. I get the individual name attachemnet, but being able to add something with more flair and style would be nice. You should be able to add pdfs to the certiciate thing much the same as you add videos to the library. Hope you can make some of these changes for the next release. Hello, On occasions we use a QR code for attendees that takes them to a polling software/tool. We do this when the polling is more creative like word clouds etc. Question, can anyone think of a place that would accept a QR code in like the email reminders or confirmation or would the email reminder or confirmation accept a hyper link that takes attendees to the QR code? Currently it appears you can add a graphic to the registration page but that isn't where we'd like to include this.
