Hello everyone, I have been using LogMeIn to remotely access my office computer,, and while it works well most of the time, I have recently noticed significant lag during remote sessions. Actions like opening apps or navigating files have a delay of several seconds, which wasn’t an issue before: Here’s some info on my setup ::- Both computers (remote and host) have strong internet connections (above 100 Mbps). I’ve made sure no heavy apps are running in the background on either end. I’ve also tried switching between the default connection speed settings and even lowering quality, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this recently: ?? I am wondering if it could be a recent update or something I am overlooking in the settings. I would appreciate any insights or fixes you have found helpful. I'm seeing an issue with the most recent build of LMI where windows don't get keystrokes or refresh. I've updated all the drivers and seems somewhat random. Sometimes going to the taskbar and closing the window or alt-tabbing helps, but not always. I think the most recent release might have been "rushed" since it seems like the basic feature of reliable remote control stopped working. More frequently I'm relying on (the included) Microsoft RDC to fix issue when LMI stops working. I am using a MacBook Air, OS Ventura13.2.1, w/bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse to connect to aWindows 11 desktop. I have the LogMeIn client downloaded on my Mac and access my host computer through the client installed on my Mac. The keyboard will suddenly stop registering keystrokes. The same issue has happened with three keyboards - two Bluetooth keyboards and the integrated keyboard on my Mac. The problem is most frequent in Word in Office 365. I will begin typing and suddenly the text will stop appearing. Ctrl shortcuts will not produce the actual shortcut, but will type the letter (e.g., ctrl + c will not copy, but will type a lowercase c). I can edit the document using the copy, paste, replace, find, etc. buttons. This sometimes kickstarts my ability to type, but then the text will stop appearing shortly thereafter. When I exit the application and reopen it, the problem still exists. In other applications (specifically Notepad and Outlook), the text will stop appearing and it will appear as if the window is "unselected." Once I "select" the area where I am typing, the text will start to appear again. If I press Ctrl twice, it will trigger the dictation on my Mac.Ctrl + Alt + Delete does not function at all. The on-screen keyboard does not show that any buttons are stuck. I have multiple Mac's where they will go to login, and it will ask for the login again on the remote Mac it self, or it will just go through the connecting action and then disconnect and will not allow the user in. If the user is able to login it will freeze on the Mac screen and do nothing. The Mac will however show as if the user is connected if checked by a different remote session. All accounts are able to login from other devices and locations without issue. The user and their remote device can not login. Trying reinstalls, older versions, newer versions, removing and re-adding all Security settings and nothing has worked or helped. First I am not a tech person, so please answer in plain language. I have been running logmeinpro for a few years. I have a Windows 10 computer at my office. I access it from my iMac at home. I am running the latest versions of the logmein software on both computers. Today when I remoted in to the Windows computer I was unable to get the Windows computer to respond to mhy keyboard on my iMac. The Windows computer resonds to mouse commands but not keyboard strokes. I checked the logmein site and locked the keyboard and chose client priority. Any ideas? Does anyone else have the issue where lastpass authenticator no longer does the push notification for the 2FA? Before when I had the LastPass Authenticator setup as my primary LogMeIn 2FA method, it would send a push notification to my phone, and I could choose to accept or reject it - doing so directly let me login to LogMeIn. It would even prompt on my Apple Watch. - Now LogMeIn (both on mobile app and web browser) is showing that I need to "run my authenticator app, and enter the code" manually. I've tried this on the Mac and Windows LogMeIn clients, as well as iOS and Android clients. Each one does the same thing - see below images: I've reset my 2FA on LogMeIn and LastPass / LastPass Authenticator and still nothing has changed. Also deleted all the apps, cleared cache and deleted all setting etc and reinstalled from scratch - no change. To be clear the 2FA is working - in that if I manually enter the codes, they are good and I can log in. I've since switched back to text message 2FA as my primary, because at least the text push as a message and auto copy the code. My LogMeIn clients (Mac, Windows, Android and iOS) are constantly prompting me to 2FA each and every time I login. It almost seems as though my account is being logged out, and it's forgetting that I've trusted the device. When I login through the browser, I'm seeing that it registers my computer and browser as a trusted device. But when I do the same on the LogMeIn client (the program itself), and I click the trust this device and don't ask for a code next time - I never see that device add to my logmein account as a trusted device. And if I logoff or an forced to logoff etc, I have to reenter my 2FA each and every time. I've redone my 2FA setup, tried it via an authenticator then text, text then authenticator etc, and not change. I've also deleted my apps and reinstalled them from scratch, setting up 2FA and still nothing. I had previously reached out to LogMeIn, and they had me turn on some logs and send them to them, but nothing really came of it. I'm wondering if this is just how it is, or if something is broken with my account. In all honesty, I didn't experience this, until the full on merger with GoTo started, where logging in on the website would jump you to the yellow and black GoTo page. I can't be the only person to have this issue, but I will detail it as though I am... I use LMI for Mac (v 4.1.7905) to control a number of different Windows PCs, and have done since around 2004 when controlling my personal PC from my work computer in the office. Currently, I use LMI to control Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines and the former still works properly and without issue. However, EVERY Windows 11 machine I control has problems displaying the "Start" menu, viewing popups for security control, etc, and just generally being quite awkward to use. When I use the iPad to connect to a Windows system and open a command prompt, the key sent for a quote ( " ) is not the same as a Windows quote. It looks different and Windows does not recognize this as a quote. There is no way to type a proper quote using the iPad. I either need to use the on-screen keyboard, or start to type a directory name that has a space and hit the tab key. Windows will automatically complete the path and include the proper quotes. That quote character can then be copied to the clipboard and pasted where necessary. Is there any way to fix this? This is also a similar issue using ctrl and shift keys when remoting to a Windows virtual host and trying to use those keys while connected to a virtual machine. The normal shif key does not work, but the shift key at the very top, that looks like an up arrow does. Specifically, Im trying to use LogMeIn to connect to a new Windows 11 PC we've recently setup. On the PC, it appears we dont even have a Windows "password". All we have is a PIN. Which is fine - locally, we can log into the machine fine with the PIN. But when trying to connect remotely using LogMeIn, it prompts for a 'password', not a PIN. I have been using LogMeIn Host for the past two years, and it was working fine on my Windows 7 system. However, for the past month, it has been showing my PC as offline. When I try to reinstall the LMI host, it still shows my PC as offline. I tried troubleshooting the issue by pinging and tracert-ing the LMI server, but there was no there problem. However, while capturing the packets using Wireshark, I noticed that the connection gets ACK but as soon as my host software sends the Client hello Packet using TLSv1.2, there is a problem. Hey all. My friend's company just started a massive work-from-home program. They use LogMeInPro to log in to their work computers from home, and it's working well so far. The biggest issue they've had is that LogMeInPro doesn't seem to natively recognize their webcams/microphones. So instead of using MS Teams via their remote desktops, their temporary workaround has been downloading MS Teams on their home PC. But this is inconvenient. I don't use LogMeInPro personally, but I am trying to help. My thought is that there must be a way to "enable" a webcam/microphone within LogMeInPro. Does anyone know how to do that? My IT admin has sent me an email with a link to access remote computer. When I click this link it tells me to log in with the email address the invitation was sent to. Background: This all started when I had one email and remote access working. My company forced email change. I went to my logmein account I had, that was working, and changed me email to the new one. We are having an issue with one computer. We have a remote employee that connects to two different computers for different tasks. One of the computers becomes unavailable on the Logmein home screen whenever they disconnect. This issue does not persist with any other computer on the network. All computers are updated and run windows 10. The computer in question recently had a fresh install of Logmein. To reiterate, once the remote employee disconnects from the host computer, it becomes unavailable and shows as if it is offline even though it is on and running. Our endpoint security product has detected the lmiinfo.sys as being an potentially unsafe application. Users has explained that they can connect to logmein through web and desktop access, but connections to remote workstation suddenly stop working. They need to close the application or web console and relaunch it, in some cases that action works but in most cases the connection will hang again. This behavior can occurs on a office site (with a fortigate firewall) or home office directly to an ISP. One day I was able to drag objects from one screen on my remote PC(Windows 10) to the other screen, then one day I cannot without stopping first. Seems like this happened when I started using the Mac version of LogMeIn client. For example, I can click and drag a Windows Explorer window from one screen to another, but when the window is halfway between the 2 screens it stops, I must 'unclick', drag my mouse pointer to the destination screen and continue to click and drag. Very annoying. When remote into my office PC from home, I routinely print to my home printer by selecting it in the printer dialog box. It has "Logmein" appended to the usual printer name. Now I have a VMware Windows 8 Pro virtual machine running on my office PC. When I am remoted into my office PC via Logmein, and run the W8P VM, is it possible to print from that VM to my home printer?
