The computer that I wish to access is on line and available however when I click on the icon to log in this message appears "Your session has timed out or the host went offline during your connection attempt". I have restarted both computers mine and the one I am trying to access but it hasn't resolved the issue. I am not sure what to do. I have been on hold for an hour to the helps desk but I need to get some work done:( The wifi connection is strong in both places. Has anyone had any experience with this issue. I am not able to get the mouse on the remote computer to control actions on the host computer. I am able to login and get access, but not do what I need to do because I can't move the mouse. Has anyone else had this problem? Or do you have suggestions of what to trouble shoot? I've gone through Security/Privacy and removed and then re-added Logmein permissions, but that hasn't helped. Hi all, I have an end user who participated in a remote session with someone from our Help Desk. 2 days have gone by and they still have the Remote Session window up which is stuck on "Connecting". I am unable to control my Mac since updates to the OS and/or LMI occurred sometime last week. I am running LMI 4.1.0.11759 on the host, and LMI client 4.1.7632 with Catalina 10.15.7 on my local machine. I am able to connect to my work Mac, but neither the keyboard or mouse input register on the machine. I also remote to a Windows 10 machine, and have had no issues with it. When I vnc to my Mac from my Windows machine, I get the LMI accessibility/privacy setting pop-up, click on 'Start Process', and nothing happens. I close that window, go to the privacy settings and follow the instructions, though the required items are already checked, so I uncheck and recheck them. I have tried restarting, completely uninstalling and reinstalling LMI; nothing I have found on these boards has worked for me so far. Any new ideas? I really need to get this fixed before it starts happening to my users who don't have an alternative machine to remote in. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the function keys of my logitech keyboard to work with the logmein app on my ipad. When I'm working remotely on a normal pc the f-keys work correctly. When I try to work from my ipad with the logitech wireless keyboard and use the f-keys they don't register. There is the fn button to push when using them but again it doesn't register. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions. Hi there, in our company we started using LogmeinPro last month and i have registered our Legal Greek VAT number in the billing information profile (I am a business with a valid VAT number). So far all seems good... We bought a valid lincence after the trial period but the invoice printed doesn't include neither our VAT number nor Logmein's Legal VAT number. One of my users is having an odd issue when using log me in on a mac. This issue just started this week. They can get a single monitor to work but the moment they switch it to "Multi Monitor" all windows go away and there is no way to bring them to the front. If you force quit log me in it goes back to the single monitor and you can use it again. Hi folks, I have been a LogMeIn Pro user for several years now, as it has always worked flawlessly with my old triple monitor setup at home and at work. Both workstations used to be triple monitor and I would remote from one to the other. I recently upgraded to an ultrawide monitor at home with a 5120x1440 resolution. Since then, I have not been able to successfully remote into my home computer. All I get is a blank screen. If I lock the host computer remotely and then log back in, I can get a view of a portion of my screen, but everything on the host computer is unresponsive (although the mouse cursor does change contextually based on where I'm pointing it). I am guessingthis has something to do with the 5120x1440 resolution not being supported in the LogMeIn client. However, even when I try to change the resolution, nothing happens. This is a pretty critical issue for me as I need to be able to work back and forth between both workstations. Is there some kind of solution for this? I suddenly find myself working from home. I need two monitors to do my job. I'm remoted in to my office computer - where I have two monitors. I have two screens on my home system as well, but when I go to logmein to remote to my office computer - I can only get one "home" monitor to work - and I have to toggle back and forth on the one screen. I am unable to connect to a remote computer. It is on-line and the console shows the computer's icon green, which I think means that there is a session in progress. I know, however, that there is not. I had connected successfully yesterday. Perhaps that session hung and didn't shut down correctly? Greetings All, When I attempt to connect my home Mac to my work Mac, my work Mac will initially indicate that it is online (usually for 1 or 2 minutes), when I attempt to connect to my work Mac it will immediately fail and then indicate that it is Offline. It will stay offline for several hours. This is recurring problem with a failure rate almost 100%. For the first few months that we were remote working, I had no problems connecting. This began around mid-September. My IT director and I have gone through the most likely fixes such as firewalls and antivirus software without success. The office Mac is running Yosemite, the home Mac is running Big Sur although this problem began when both were running Yosemite. In the past couple weeks these issues have appeared. Sometimes when we try to connect via File Manger the app gets stuck after it posts "Connect Successful, Handoff Connection Active". Oddly Remote Control works fine to connect. We then have to reboot our Host computer and usually it clears up the problem. But it's been annoying as we've had to reboot the computer a few times a day in some instances. We've also noted Remote Control no longer allows us to drag and drop files from it's window to our desktop or visa versa. This was very helpful feature, as sometimes we don't want to dig through the File Manager app. Anyone have similar issues and know how to resolve? Remote printing has no option for single sided printing
I have a user I set up with printing locally to a network printer single sided. The printer preferences specifically list single sided for this printer. When he tries to print from the remote session it prints double sided with no options to change it. This is printing to an HP printer and the local computer has the proper drivers for it. We have a satellite office, and use LMI Pro to connect to a Host Computer at our main office. We log into the software (scheduling/billing) on the Host Computer. We suddenly lost remote printing (i.e...we can't print the schedule, receipts, etc. here in the satellite office). There are a few users...I would assume someone changed a setting somewhere by mistake. The Local Printer is installed fine on the Client computer. Prints a test page, shows as the default printer for the local computer, prints anything generated locally fine. The Log Me In tool bar at the top gives the local printer as the option, and it is checked as the default once we're logged in to the host computer. However, whenever we try to print (say a schedule) locally, the Host seems to try to print to One Note. There is no printer hooked up directly to the Host Computer. The client printer does NOT show as an option when checking Windows for printers on the Host, and trying to 'add' it doesn't bring up the the client printer when we're logged in to the Host. Not sure what settings need changed. Hello I recently logged in to my Avid remotely via LogMeIn and started a Transcode, it all seemed fine so I disconnected. When I arrived in person at the machine a while later Avid had paused transcoding (possibly from the moment I disconnected LogMeIn), but it then continued when I arrived at the machine. I've successfully used LogMeIn to start Quicktime exports etc, all with no problem. Does anyone have any experience of Avid pausing during a Transcode that was initiated remotely?
