We use a few PCs for an extensive list of users to share as the software installed on it is hardly ever used. Many times, our list of available computers will have one of them with abluecolor indicating no one is currently connected. Hovering over this icon confirms that no agents are connected. Refreshing the computer list (on both the web and on the LMI desktop app) still shows the PC as blue. When someone tries to connect to it, a few different things can happen: 1. It works as it should and they get right in (not the problem). 2. It shows that there is a session already in progress on that PC and it won't let them in. 3. They get connected, kicking off another user that was already in it (using a shared login to the PC), and then the previous user subsequently kicks the new user out again by reconnecting, forcing the second user to try another PC. In the second and third scenarios, hovering over the PC in Central shows the second user is connected for about 10 minutes and then the icon goes back to blue, even though the original user is still in a session. What would cause this behavior? I thought it might be the way they are connecting to the PC (web ui vs desktop app), but that doesn't seem to be it. As it happens quite a bit (at least once a week just for me), the biggest problem is not being able to hover over it to see which agent is using the PC.KDubya10 months agoNew Member488Views0likes1CommentStay Connected

I am setting up a new Windows 11 PC and went to the LMI Central website and logged in using the Chrome browser. I have about 20 seats currently and needed to put in the access credentials for each one. I started with a client who has an access code and it went in fine and connected. However when I tested it a few minutes later it asked me for the code again. This continued so I tried a client with a username and password, again it connected fine but when I disconnected and tried to reconnect it only showed the username and not the password. Again I had to re-enter the password but again it was forgotten after I logged out. Wondering if it might be a browser thing I opened the Edge browser and tried the same process from there. This time the credentials were saved and auto-logon worked fine. This does suggest a problem of some kind with Chrome. Could it be a setting that needs changing I wonder. I should point out that I also use the LMI Client App and have had no problems there either. I told them about the color setting changing from HD to fastest but then they say it's too grainy. Is there anything else we can do to improve the performance?Joe_Grosskopf2 years agoNew Contributor664Views0likes1CommentCan't match resolution
LogMeIn had me download an update before using the login client recently and since then I have been unable to use the match screen resolution feature. Work monitor is 1920x1080, home monitor is 1680x1050 (it was an old spare that was laying around because my 1920x1080 died, have been using it this way for 3 months now)... It worked fine up until the update the other day, now when I click match resolution it bounces between the 2 resolutions and then returns to 1920x1080 which is squished and very small of a view on the 1680x1050. It won't allow me to select it manually, it just bounces again as if I click "Match resolution". There is also a lag trail of the mouse pointer now too that didn't exist previously.Solvedkplu2 years agoNew Member18KViews1like11CommentsConnection hanging on verify identity
I have a MacBook Pro with Yosemite and LogMeIn Pro. I have a problem where every once in a while, while I'm in the middle of using my computer, my connection will freeze. My only option is to disconnect and re-connect, but at that point, I get stuck on Verifying Identity. I only get stuck o Verifying Identuty when trying to remote control. When I go into the file manager, I am able to connect. If I try to restart the computer, it shuts down and remains off. I tried using the restart feature on LogMeIn and I tried to remote into a different mac and use that to remote into my MacBook Pro (very akward). Either way, when I restart, my computer just shuts down and stays off until I can get home to turn it on. I took a screenshot of my screen when I am stuck on verifying identity, but I don't know how to post it. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it. This is highly frustrating.phkc0704082 years agoNew Contributor5KViews0likes2CommentsDisallowing our Staff to Download our Files While Working from Home
Please assist me with setting up the security features. We want our staff to be able to work from home but not be able to download our files onto their home devices for obvious security and confidentiality reasons. What other issues might I not have thought of?Florida336022 years agoNew Member2.2KViews0likes3CommentsMac host only showing desktop wallpaper and menu bar

Hello everyone, I am helping out my wife who's work is using LogMeIn for remote access into their office. At home she has 2 monitors 1 - 24" 1080;p 1 - 27" benQ 1440p monitor. We have her set up with 2 separate screen sessions, she has 2 monitors at work. The issue is, the 24" 1080 screen can open full screen and looks fine. But the 1440p monitor, only goes up to 1920 x 1080 res and leaves a large black border around it. Is this is a limitation of LogMeIn? Can it not scale 2 different resolutions or is it a limit of the "source" computer screen resolutions? I was planning to buy her a 2nd matching 1440p monitor, but if LogMeIn wont scale to use 1440p.....no real point. Appreciate the help.SolvedMathiau2 years agoVisitor4.8KViews0likes5CommentsCome dare disdetta del rinnovo automatico ?
Buongiorno. Come è possibile dare disdetta del rinnovo automatico ? Avrei intenzione di passare a Supremo, che costa meno di un terzo. Il numero indicato nel sito (800 789 732) non funziona e sembra non esserci nessun altro canale per contattare operatori. Grazie a chi vorrà rispondere.Fomo672 years agoNew Member781Views0likes1Comment
