Does anyone know how to synchronize 2 folders that are on systems on 2 different isolated networks. The One2Many tasks have the option to move a predefined file but it doesn't look like there's isn't way to copy entire folders. I'm really just looking for an automated one-way copy solution for 'new' files, not necessarily keeping them in synch. I've asked support but they weren't useful. The suggestion was to "write you own script to do it", but the files would still need to be transferred through LogMeIn since the 2 systems are on separate networks. Does anyone know how to have script (whatever language) dynamically send an arbitrary from one LogMeIn system to another? Hi all, Small business setup question: We have a Hamachi Pro 'gateway' network setup which has co-incidentally ended up using the same IP address scheme as one of our employees home network. Usually, when people login to the Hamachi VPN, they receive the gateways actual physical IP address as per the IP scheme for the physical network, the physical network also serves DHCP to the VPN end point clients...however, this employee does not receive such services, presumably because the IP address clashes with her home network and therefore can't have two networks on two NIC adapters with the same network subnet...Hamachi has therefore given the gateway on her client, a different IP address and circumvent this issue, however its not routable across the physical network and she cannot access any resources. Is there any way around this without resolving the IP address clash? Appreciate that would be the -most- sensible solution, but its not easy to ask an employee to change their home broadband network, and even harder to change the business' physical network! 🙂 Many thanks and appreciate the feedback!!tbotfield3 years agoNew Contributor478Views0likes0CommentsModifying or disabling certain keyboard shortcuts? CTRL-Alt conflicts with 3ds Max.
We frequently use the LogMeIn client to work remotely in 3ds Max. In 3ds Max CTRL and Alt keys are used to navigate and rotate the view. Typically you move a viewport by clicking the middle mouse button and dragging, then you can press Alt to rotate, and then add CTRL to zoom in and out. It's a very fast way to navigate the views, and it is completely second nature to experienced 3ds Max users. Unfortunately, pressing CTRL-Alt is also the shortcut to exit full-screen mode in the LogMeIn client. This means we're thrown out of full-screen view all the time when working. I regularly uninstall logmein because when it is installed on my computer, and while I am not using it but it is a background app, it regularly used huge amounts of CPU %. My guess, they are using idle computers of their customers to do computing (bitcoin mining?). There is no other reason that an idle background app should be using 96% of my CPU. I delete the app when I am in town and install an new clean version when I am going on vacation. Why should paying customers have to deal with LogMeIn using so much of our CPU when we aren't even using the app? It heats up my machine, my CPU fan is on constantly when this one app is installed. I check task manager and it shows the culprit, LogMeIn and it's associated apps. Also, I check and see that no one is logged in to my machine (I suspected someone may have been hacking in but no, there was no one).
