Spinning Until LogMeIn Fixes
I'm a little lost as to why this happens. I have a user that is using a cloud scheduling app to complete tasks in her work. At times she will complain about spinning (taking a long time once she clicks on something). If I log on to her computer using LogMeIn, it is immediately fixed. I then stay logged in and minimize the session, otherwise if I log out, the problem will come back... When I attempt to log in with my existing credentials, however, I am confronted with a message that says I have no more active subscriptions. But I can find no way to transfer the subscription from my old system to the new one. In the list of computers for which I have subscriptions, my old system shows as "Off line," but I can see no way to delete the old system or transfer the license. You go as far as to provide disconnected numbers on your website for support in Australia and no clear channel for support or account enquires, further to that you bill credit cards that have been explicitly removed. This worked before. Lid closed and able to view my laptop@ work. Lid is set to do nothing. All the save power settings are off such as hybernate etc. In the most recent I get a black screen, but it was working fine. Hello - I'm posting here as it seems there is no dedicated discussion thread for feature requests. I started a 200GB download file estimated to take ~48 hours. My connection was interrupted a short while ago having only completed around half the task. I restarted the transfer and was prompted to overwrite or skip. There was no option to resume. File transfer functionality has been around for decades. "Resume Transfer" has long been accepted as standard and expected functionality. Yet, LMI Pro doesn't seem to have it. I did call support who confirmed there was no resume. Just prior to writing this message, I selected "Overwrite". It's already 8% complete (18GB). At this rate, it would be done in another hour or two. I suspect it actually is resuming transfer and verifying what's there, but there is no clear messaging to that effect. Hi Guys, the message on the subject is from a client that take up to an hour to connect to logmein after a reboot. i have checked the FW and the configuration and everything is allowed. i was not able to change the regedit as recommened by the kb https://support.logmeininc.com/pro/help/what-does-error-10054-mean because it does not have that registry and the other clients in the same network do not have this problem. any idea would be awesome. Hi. I haven´t used Logemin in years. I now want to try Hamachi for personal use. I logged in på my acccount and deleted my old computers and shared users. It seems to me that my account is locked in Pro, and that i have to pay for Base plan to use the service. "Your account has become limited." Offline Issues
My Host PC has wired broadband cable connection so it is not a WiFi connection issue. When I sign into the client it will spin around for ages and not log me in to the host. I have to refresh or close it down completely before it will do that. But in the last week the PC symbol had changed from blue to green and a pop up will say " Connect to the host computer is currently not available". The client will then switch to 'Offline". I have to call my boss and he has to restart my host computer. WE are working from home because of Covid my PC is the only one having this issue. It is very frustrating and embarrassing to have to keep calling my boss who has to drive into the office , unlock the building and switch my PC on again. A user recently came to me and told me she was having trouble logging in. She has the client installed on her device and she said she was logging in as normal. I tested her account on my device and all worked well. I had her bring in her device. I had her walk me through how she logs in. I found out that she was logging in by opening the client and then clicking on her username. What this does is open up Internet Explorer and has you login via a browser. Honestly, i didn't even know that was possible. I've always selected my computer and logged in via the client. Anyway, her default browser is set to Chrome, but there doesn't seem to be a way to prevent the link in the client from opening up an Internet Explorer window. I uninstalled/reinstalled the LogMeIn client, but that didn't make a difference. Am i missing something? This is on a fairly new device running Windows 10, fully patched. I'm hoping somebody can help me, I have updated my iPad with the new IPadOS 13.1.2. This operating system allows you to use an external mouse with the iPad. Hello. I am running LogMeIn Control Panel on Mac OS Catalina for our small business. I want to limit remote control/screen sharing for most users and just allow file access through the File Manager. There are 18 total users (who have sharing only accounts) with user specific permissions who can log in and read and write the file system. Those are the only items checked on permissions. There is one user with full control who is also an administrator on the computer. However, all the users can still remote control. LogMeIn grays screen when window is not active
I use LogMeIn to connect to a Windows 7 machine where I'm running an application which provides a lot of status indications using color. Often, I don't need to interact with the application, I just need to watch it. Any time I select another window on my desktop, the LogMeIn screen goes from full-color to gray. Is there anyway to disable thie behavior? I don't need the LogMeIn window to be active all the time, but I do need to watch it. The color changing really diminishes the effectiveness of LogMeIn for this task. Is this behavior driven by the client or the LogMeIn application on the remote PC? Or is it something controlled our LogMeIn administator? LMI Login and then Disconnected from remote Win7 64-bit then Switch On button, but never switches on
LogMeIn Pro when connecting to Win7 Pro 64-bit work Pc will login to Pc for 10 sec, then LMI screen to remote turns black, then can see remote screen for 2 sec, then turns black and then screen turns grey and says "Reconnecting or Cancel". Reconnect never reconnects, and cancel closes grey LMI screen to my work Pc. Back to the LMI Central panel where remote Computers are, and at the top of the screen is a red bar "Your session has timed out or the host went offline during your connection attempt.Refresh Why does my computer show as offline?" Next to my work Pc is a button "Switch On", but clicking on the button never switches the Pc on, and only spinning circle and words "Switching on". The "only" way to connect to my work Pc is to have someone at work physically reboot it, and then I can connect. THIS IS NOT GOOD!!! I need to be able to connect to my work Pc at any hour to take care of problems. This forces me to drive 35 miles into work to reboot my work Pc. I am having trouble loging into the desktop client using my credentials. I can use my username and password on my web browser to access my account but the web browser I use does not support all the actions I need. I have checked my account log to make sure I am using the correct username and I am. The log says that the logins failed becuase of an incorrect password but I know that I am using the correct password. I have even reset it twice.
