Data questions
Hello, We are reviewing our contracts due to the data transfer changes coming into place later this year. I would be grateful if you could provide the following information by return: confirmation as to whether or not you transfer data outside the UK / EEA and if so, to where? confirmation as to whether or not you transfer data to the USA confirmation as to whether or not you transfer data to any other jurisdiction whose data protection standards are not UK / EEA equivalent and if so, what are these jurisdictions? Thank you for your help in this matter and if you have any questions, please let me know. Look forward in hearing from you. Our webinars include a certificate of attendance for those who attend either the live or recorded session. I've had some attendees not receive the follow-up Email with the certificate due to, so it seems, missing timestamp data in the attendee report. In these instances, attendees will be marked as Yes for their attendance status, but the timestamp details of when they joined the session, when they left, and the total attendance time will be missing altogether. I'm guessing GTW must use this info as logic to send the follow-up Email. I've tried to gather more details from end users as far as what devices they're using to attend, and the most common devices to not send timestamp data are portable devices from both Apple and Android. In another case, I had a user with a desktop PC that had an Ad Blocker activated that only sent timestamp data after the Ad Blocker was turned off. Has anybody else seen this? Aside from the other issues we face with SPAM, bounced Emails and whitelist issues, this is yet one more challenge when it comes to follow-up after events.ASEWebinars3 years agoActive Contributor654Views0likes1CommentMore than a month after calling support, no change

The GoToTraining "new experience" works as a web app on Linux. Some things (e.g. scheduling training, uploading materials, generating reports) work in Firefox or Chrome, but hosting training only works in Chrome. However, the annotation tools are not available in the web app version, only the desktop app version, which is not available for Linux. Also, you cannot present via GoToWebinar at all using Linux. I'm having problems with the timezone changing when adding an event to my calendar. I am set in CEST and my computer is set to timezone CEST. When I create an event, the event is also set in CEST. My account is also set to CEST. All possible settings are set to CEST. When recieving the confirmation e-mail, and you try to add the event to the calendar, it automatically changes the timezone toGMT-7 in LA-time. You have to manually change the timezone back to CEST in order for it to show it correctly, but this is not viable. We have tested it on various computers, which are also all set in CEST, and it still changes the time zone. Today during a webcast, one of the organizers who was logged in did not have the ability to remove or add in handouts through the control panel or through the web interface (using Chrome or Firefox.) There was simply no option to add handouts during or remove the handouts that were already uploaded before the webinar. Both of us could not add a new handout using the web interface, but one of us could add and remove from the control panel. This is very odd behavior because for years and hundreds of webinars we could always manage handouts during the webinar from the control panel and the website. I noticed there was system maintenance earlier today. I am reporting this because I wonder if the problem we experienced was related to the service changes. We have another large webinar tomorrow. A few days ago our usual Host was leading a webinar and everything went well except that, later on, we found that the last minutes of our main panelist's webcam video feed where missing (not the audio). Basically, it looks like exactly when he finished his presentation and our Host took away his screen sharing privileges the video stream got sort of disconnected from the recording. The audio was recorded and the audio and video where unaffected during the live event (hence nobody noticed anything at the time). AFAIK recordings are not stored anywhere else so there is no chance to recover the missing bits. So, the specific incident was not severe as we edited the video before publishing, but we are a bit worried that this could happen again during a more important event (or guest!) Does anyone have any insights on to what could have happened, if there is any detail that could warn us that something is not right, or any advice at all on this? I might also note that, not too far from this, we had some goto-opener issues that were most likely related to updates at GoTo's end of the systems, so I can't rule out some general instability going on. For the record, this is not a rant. I know stuff can fail sometimes... actually we have been using GoTo for, like, three years now and it has been quite reliable. I would really love to be able to use the "virtual event" feature. It seems to make creating a webinar series much easier and visually appealing from a landing page/info standpoint. However, there are a few issues or glitches I am currently having with it. - I can't customize the registration disclaimer like in regular webinars. - I don't think I can set up emails for reminders to people? At least that I can find. - I can't create custom tracking links to know where people are registering from. - Once registered, you get an email, no easy way to "add to calendar". You have to go to the landing page in order to add individual sessions. Ideally it should be done from the email. - I can't change who that email is from (our webinar emails say they come from us vs. Log Me In). Or provide more information to direct these people what to do to add to calendar and join the sessions by customizing an email. - In my test, I can't seem to join a session. I can see the button but I can't get any browsers or devices to actually join it. No one else can either. - Getting there (to join a session) is not user-friendly either. Our audience is often low-tech. They have to click to go to the page and then wait until the session is broadcast (at least as far as I can tell). And then likely refresh. - Also, are there live stream capabilities with it?Solvedwebinarsctct3 years agoActive Contributor1.4KViews0likes6CommentsPardot - Salesforce more information via Interface
Hello everybody, In principle, it is about the Pardot interface, which transfers certain characteristic fields from GoToWebinar to our CRM system. Here with GoTo probably only name, first name and e-mail address are transferred. However, our leads require significantly more data, which is probably handed over to other providers. And here we have the question of whether the transfer of the maps via the Pardot interface is planned or will be implemented on the GoTo roadmap in the foreseeable future. Otherwise we will probably be forced to change the provider who can provide us with this very time-saving feature. Hi, We would like to schedule 4 webinars-- so, not really "recurring" but "custom." We would like these to be 4 different groups of people, so we have selected "Register for individual sessions." I am encountering some questions I can't figure out myself. I can see under "Meets 4 times" that there are registrants for the later webinars, but in Track Registrants I can only see the registrants for the first session. How can I view registrants for later webinars? Does the Registration Limit apply to all four added together, or is it a limit for each webinar? It seems that the same person can register for multiple times, and I'm guessing there is no way around this, except manual approval. If you register for Session A, will that same link work for Session B, even if you don't register? Or, does each person get different links for different webinars?
