Recent Update
It would be helpful to know when GoTo is going to send out an update that changes the settings in the desktop application. The update we received recently is not helpful, it changed the view under "Contacts" and it makes it more difficult to find contacts and use, we would prefer the way it was prior to this. I have had 3 call center agents experience an issue where they go to answer a call and it says "Call ended, There was a problem and the call dropped". If they tried to call someone it sated connection issue, we are currently working on this etc.this happened to all three on different occasions. I had them use task manager to close the desk top app if they were using it. No change If they were using the browser I had them close & reopen. Cleared the cache & everything no change. Everything else on their PC worked fine. It was not until they restarted the computer that it began to work normal. HOWEVER, for one of them it happened twice the same day. For users using the GoTo app for Windows they are clicking the contacts button on the left nav menu and get a screen that says 404. Running Windows 10 Enterprise and the latest GoTo update. The contacts option in the Android app works fine. The behavior is the same on the internal corporate network and on external networks. The GoToConnect platform is lagging behind many other platforms in terms of implementation of technologies like: Verified Calls or Verified SMS. This technology is obviously building on the capabilities of the Stir-Shaken Protocol for messaging/voice verification. GoTo Connect's partner Bandwidth supports much of these capabilities already as indicated here.
