Today the Rescue team is excited to release self-service SSO – giving all Rescue customers the ability to configure and test their single sign-on configurations in the Rescue Admin Center. Previously, customers had to schedule time with a Support Representative to complete the final step of their configuration, this is no longer required!
Highlights and Details
Where can customers configure SSO?
- Sign in with existing MAH / Master Admin credentials
- Launch the admin center
- Navigate to Global Settings where you will see the new SAML SSO configuration options:
The configuration screens have the following improvements:
- Helpful tooltips for each field
- Ability to sign the request with SHA-256
- Customers can import IdP metadata directly into the Admin Center to pre-populate fields
- Rescue SP metadata can also be exported
- TEST – customers can now perform a handshake test for SP initiated SSO, and receive instant confirmation the configuration was successful
- If customers already have SSO configured, they will see their information already populated, as in the screenshot above.
