What's New?
Support for macOS Catalina (10.15)
- Agents can now host support sessions using the latest version of the GoToAssist Expert Desktop application from their Mac running macOS Catalina (10.15), which includes 64-bit software support. Previously, the GoToAssist Expert desktop application only supported 32-bit software on macOS. (GTAUP-5669)
- In order for agent accounts to retrieve the latest version, admins will need to log in to the Admin Center and update the Build Version Updates in GoToAssist Remote Support (either per device group or account-wide) by selecting either Regular & Beta Updates or Infrequent Updates (v4.7, build 1673). Once the latest version is available within the agent account's, they can upgrade automatically or manually.
Known Issue
Unreadable Text in Dark Mode
- If an agent's theme is set to Dark Mode in macOS, some text within the GoToAssist Expert desktop application is displayed with difficult visibility (but with full functionality in tact). Please be aware that this issue is expected to be resolved in a future release, however, our recommended workaround is to change to theme to Light Mode in macOS. Thank you for your patience as we work toward a resolution. (GTAUP-6067)
